以太坊合并终于完成了，这件事从年初的时候说道现在，终于，显卡挖矿要成为历史了，以太坊合并之后，为什么显卡不能挖矿赚钱了？以太坊从PoW转向了PoS模式，大家不懂这个变化也没关系，简单来说就是之前挖矿就能赚钱，合并之后不行了，算力直接归零，电力消耗直接降低了99.95%。
但是对矿工来说，这次的合并就是末日了，尽管有人不死心搞出了能继续挖矿的ETHW分叉，然而撼动不了主流，显卡挖矿这次真的死了。最直接的后果就是显卡挖矿每天的收益归零，甚至考虑到电费之后还要亏钱，如下表所示：
网络汇总的显卡挖矿收益表显示，目前挖矿还有正收益的主要是RX 6800及RX 6800 XT，但每天算下来也只有0.11美元，而之前挖矿大热的RTX 3060、RTX 3080显卡是负收益，虽然每天亏的也不过是几美分而已。
接下来怎么办？除非有奇迹诞生，接着出一个能挖矿赚钱的新币种，否则对矿工来说几乎没有别的路可走了，尽可能把显卡出二手回血是唯一的选择了。
然而考虑到显卡价格已经跌破建议价了，大量矿卡冲入市场的后果就是进一步拉低价格，导致高价显卡无人问津，逼着厂商接着降价，而这也是AMD、NVIDIA以及一众显卡厂商不愿意看到的情况，降价不仅影响收入和利润，还会在AMD/NVIDIA与显卡厂商之间产生矛盾，毕竟谁来承担降价的成本是个大问题。

However, considering that the price of graphics cards has fallen below the recommended price, the consequence of a large number of mining cards rushing into the market is to further lower the price, resulting in no one interested in high-priced graphics cards, forcing manufacturers to cut prices, which is also AMD, NVIDIA and a number of graphics card manufacturers. Unwilling to see the situation, the price reduction will not only affect revenue and profits, but also create conflicts between AMD/NVIDIA and graphics card manufacturers. After all, who will bear the cost of price reduction is a big problem.
